About Me

Carla DeCarlo is a Sr. Graphic Designer who has worked for national clients at top rated advertising agencies, book and magazine publishers, corporations, associations and nonprofits. She also spent 25 years as the co-owner of DeCarlo Studios, LLC, where she handled the print, identity, social media and web design for a variety of corporations, associations and small businesses. Through DeCarlo Studios she worked both on and offsite as a contractor for clients as well as handling the administrative and managerial duties of running a business.

Carla currently designs and produces the national, award-winning flagship magazine of the American Correctional Association, Corrections Today. She also provides general graphic design to support multiple departments in the association including logo design, e-blasts, ads, flyers, conference collateral, web banners, books and more. She coordinates quotes, printing and delivery as needed to fulfill projects. She is an expert with the Adobe Creative Suite for print and graphics on both PC and MAC platforms and especially loves designing layouts and working with text. In her spare time she enjoys reading, gardening, baking and watching sports.

Expert in the Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Also proficient in MSOffice, Outlook and Joomla. Capable of working on both PC and MAC platforms.
